CIEMB 2022

The 5th International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics, Management and Business (5th CIEMB 2022) is organized by National Economics University in Hanoi, Vietnam. The aim of the conference is to create a forum for scholars from different academic fields of economics, business and management to exchange and present their research.

Participating in the CIEMB 2022 conference, there were 3 main speakers: Professor Robert Breunig (Australian National University) with a lecture on Covid-19 fiscal policy in Australia and lessons for Vietnam; Prof. Jonathan Pincus, Senior UNDP Global Economist with a research paper on institutional bottlenecks in growth and development in Vietnam; Prof. Alex Vanderstraeten (University of Ghent-Belgium) with a discussion on human resource management and sustainability - A new agenda for the post-pandemic context.



In addition, the guest speaker was Associate Professor Juthathip Jongwanich (Thammasat University-Thailand), Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Thai and World Economics, with a special speech on the topic of Experience and Publishing Strategy. high quality international publications.


The main objective of the conference is to create a forum for scholars from different academic fields in economics, business and management to exchange and present their research. The conference will be a forum for debate on contemporary issues of economics, management and business, supporting strategies to stimulate growth and sustainable development around the world.



The global economy has experienced unprecedented challenges and difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic over the past two years. Vietnam is facing many consequences in the post-pandemic period, which can threaten sustainable growth and development. Therefore, the issue in the post-Covid-19 context becomes the main topic of CIEMB 2022 with keynote speeches and many other presentations.
