Workshop "Circular Economy: Digitalization"

Raw material scarcity and environmental pollution are top concerns around the world, therefore, finding solutions for a sustainable future - in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals countries (SDGs) has become urgent. To "green" the Earth, the global economy must also "turn" green. This is the reason why Circular Economy is an inevitable trend for all countries in the world, not except Vietnam. The Circular Economy is closely linked with technological innovation. Therefore, the construction and development of an effective circular economy in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 period must be associated with digital transformation or digitization.

Realizing that the Circular Economy model is essential but still unfamiliar to many economics students. NEUMUN has decided to organize the Workshop “Circular Economy: Variables to Turn Dragons” with the desire to provide more knowledge about this model and clarify the role of digitization in a circular economy.

In the progress of developing and conducting the Workshop, my main tasks including:

• Created and developed the workshop Topic

• Supported the communications departmentin delivering the topic to internal members the audiences

• Assisted the public relations department in working with the main speakers and sponsors

NEUMUN Conference 2022

NEUMUN is an annual conference for young people representing a country in the council to discuss and find solutions to specific problems, with a particular focus on global economic issues. NEUMUN 2022's theme is "The rebirth of Baldur". In the context of the modern world, NEUMUN 2022 will focus mainly on discussing recent global economic issues with councils such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Besides, for more fun, the Fantasy Crisis Council (FCC) has been selected as the 3rd and final council of NEUMUN 2022.

Besides the conference, we have organzied a Kick off Workshop "Economic Diplomacy: The story of Integrating" has the participant of 2 speakers:

• Assoc. Dr Nguyen Van Lich - Former Dean of the Faculty of International Economics at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Former Counselor of the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy

• Assoc. Dr Ta Van Loi - Director of the Institute of International Trade & Economics, National Economics University. He has many years of teaching in the fields of Import-Export, Customs, International Economic Integration, etc at organizations such as General Department of Customs, VCCI, Association of Military Enterprises, Vietnam Railway Corporation, Samsung, VNPT, etc.

In the progress of developing and conducting the NEUMUN 2022 conference, my main tasks including:

• Took responsibility for the content of Fantasty Crisis Council (FCC) with the Topic: World War III

• Developed the content of conferece materials (Handbook, Study Guide)

• Trained delegates and internal members about MUN knowledge and committee's topic

• Delegate of Greece in International Monetary Fund Council (IMFC) with the Theme: "Debt relief and restructuring in African countries"

• Assisted in event organization at the Pre-Workshop: "Economic Diplomacy: The story of Integrating"
